How to Add or Remove an Authorized Depositor (Wio Business)

If you can't visit a deposit location yourself, you can authorize someone else to deposit cash on your behalf. You can add or remove authorized depositors at any time through the Wio Business app.

➕ How to Add an Authorized Depositor

1. Log in to the Wio Business app.
2. Tap the "Add money+" button
3. Select Cash Deposit, then choose FAB Deposit Machine.
4. Tap "Make a Deposit" then "Add Depositor".
5. Enter the depositor's:
1. Emirates ID number
2. Full name
6. Tap "Save".

✅ The authorized person will receive a notification confirming they've been added successfully.

Once saved, a Wio reference number will be generated. Share this number with your depositor — they'll need it at the FAB machine. The reference number is:

• Valid for 7 days
• Good for one deposit only (generate a new one for each deposit)

? How to Add a New Depositor for Future Deposits

Need to authorize a different person next time?

1. Follow the same steps above.
2. When you reach the depositor screen, tap "New Depositor".
3. Enter their Emirates ID number and full name, then tap Save.

? You can have multiple authorized depositors saved in the app for convenience.

?️ How to Remove an Authorized Depositor

If you no longer want someone to deposit cash on your behalf:

1. Open the Cash Deposit section in the app.
2. Find the depositor you'd like to remove.
3. Swipe left on their name.
4. A confirmation message will appear — tap "Delete" to confirm.

✅ The depositor will be removed immediately and will no longer be able to deposit on your behalf.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have more than one authorized depositor?
Yes. You can add multiple depositors and manage them in the Cash Deposit section of the app.

Does my authorized depositor need anything to make the deposit?
Yes. They'll need the Wio reference number you generated in the app and their Emirates ID when visiting the FAB machine.

What happens if I delete a depositor by mistake?
No worries — simply add them again by tapping "Add Depositor" and re-entering their details.

Does removing a depositor cancel any pending deposits?
Removing a depositor does not cancel an already-generated reference number. If a valid reference number is still active, contact Wio Support through the app if you'd like to cancel it.
